They all got fat, and shitbagged their way through their careers.ĭon’t do it, sitting around for hours waiting for your parachutes to arrive. ALL of the 3rd corps guys I've worked with, have all been terrible at their jobs. Youre in AIT, you don't know what you're talking about if you say the 82nd isn't your cup of tea because you haven't even gotten to experience the real Army yet. My old brigade went to south america to train with Colombian paratroopers. You know where all of 3rd Corps goes to traing? NTC.they go almost nowhere else. In my first 2 years in the 82nd I had been to 4 different states for different training missions. Because somebody else will happily snag that shit up. If you want to coast and shitbag your way through your contract, then go ahead and drop your airborne contract. They have very high standards for their troopers. But some of the best soldiers come out of there. I was in the 82nd for a hot minute, and I can honestly tell you, that it is its own beast. Do not answer n00b questions on the main boards.
